Any Suggestions to Avoid Slang Sentences or “Indoglish”, please?

By: Nilam W., Thailand

Good day dear friend. How are you today? May the spirit of God always with us. And what we are doing today or after will have advantages to others and full of the good things.
There was one time as Indonesian and student have some problem dealing with English writing. They finally realize at the end of study the important value of English writing.
As we are all know, that speaking English is quite big different with writing. Maybe in here, we are not talking about “content” of the writing, but mainly for grammar. Many graduated students got difficulties to write in English. Talk about thesis, thesis with native language (Indonesia) is already difficult; this could be more difficult writing in English, right?
The important of thesis in English: Thesis can easily read by everyone around the globe, not only for the people who concern about the subject but also other people with different passion. Surely thesis will not only end up in university library.
Some of English thesis writing of the student comprises Indoglish (the high level of wrongly English writing, translating English by using Indonesia grammar). Am I right to mention Indoglish? Correct me if I am wrong friend.
The funny thing is the student with ability to delivering speech or presentation in good English, but not for thesis writing. Aha :).
Does anyone can give suggestion, how to improve English academic writing skill, especially for thesis or dissertation written in English?
It would be very grateful for all comments and suggestions.
Many thanks.
