Salah satu kriteria berbicara (speaking) adalah coherence (pertalian/penyambungan antar kalimat yang jelas) sehingga kalimat ucapan mudah dipahami. Ciri kalimat ucapan coherent adalah penggunakan kata penghubung/transition word/connector.

PERINGATAN: 
Jangan menggunakan transition word/connector yang tidak kamu kuasai/familiar yang BISA menyebabkan kamu terbata-bata ketika berbicara dalam ujian TOEFL/IELTS. Gunakan HANYA yang sudah kamu kuasai/familiar saja.
